MAGMASOFT® 6.1 Now Features New Thermotec Riser Sleeve Data
MAGMA in collaboration with Thermotec are now introducing the Thermotec Riser Sleeve Database, featuring Thermotec riser sleeve technology. Users now have direct access to a comprehensive, validated library of riser sleeves specifically designed for iron, steel, and nonferrous foundries – integrated into MAGMASOFT®.
This new database includes detailed property data such as riser geometry, exothermic performance characteristics, and compatibility with various molding systems. Foundries can now efficiently select and place Thermotec sleeves with MAGMASOFT®, streamlining casting simulation workflows. Automated selection and orientation of riser sleeves in simulations enables even greater accuracy, consistency and casting quality.
