Workshops are a combination of lectured based seminars paired with hands-on learning. The workshop experience varies depending on the class and may utilize facilities such as computer labs, metallography labs, or even pouring metal in the foundry. The workshop categorization will also apply to programs where the class participants are divided into small groups for interaction and task completion. Workshops are offered for both the direct user and the indirect user. The mixture of direct and indirect user works nicely to combine a broad range of skill sets and experience levels, facilitating a “learning from each other” environment.
