Application Engineer - Non-Ferrous

Now we are looking for a Non-Ferrous Application Engineer to join our U.S. team and help us continue advancing the future of metalcasting.

 

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Technical Expertise: 3-6 years of experience in the non-ferrous casting world, whether in process engineering, quality engineering, pattern/tooling design or other related technical areas.
  • Confident Communicator: You enjoy engaging with people from engineers to executives and have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Versatility & Adaptability: You are comfortable switching between sales, engineering projects, technical support, and educational services.
  • Independent & Collaborative: You thrive both in team settings and when working independently to deliver results.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Use MAGMASOFT® software daily to deliver insights and solutions to non-ferrous customers.
  • Cross trained in other casting processes, for example high pressure die casting
  • Grow and support our customer base through technical expertise and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with Application Managers on new sales opportunities.
  • Create and confidentially present technical materials for internal meetings, customer presentations, training sessions, industry conferences, and reports.  The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable with public speaking and effectively presents technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • Lead and support engineering projects and educational workshops.
  • Act as a technical spokesperson in marketing videos for social media, clearly communicating engineering concepts and product knowledge to customers and industry professionals.
  • Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25% travel).
